First through Third Tool Academy Shows

Ok, i'm going off memory here.  But to quote Roger Rabbit, "Shawn from Tool Academy is an actor, let me count the ways!"......

1.  The guy sets the mood and tone for the rest of the group of guys.  i.e. Episode 2, he was the first to get up during therapy, he set the tone for how the guys were supposed open up.  He started crying so all the other guys would think, "Ok, i'll get real and say some serious things and open up as well".  Also, he was the quarterback for the football game in the first episode, so he was able control that segment.

2.  The guy is just too stereotypical.  He's always saying very typical and corny phrases. i.e. 'what the f**** bro?!!? or 'who needs therapy?'  It seems like he's trying to act like a dumb meat head.

3.  When ever he or his girlfriend is talking about their relationship, everything is vague.  There are no specifics.

4.  Episode 2 was completely unbelievable.  The bomb that shawn had two girlfriends at the same time was just over the top.  Then neither of the girls were crying when all three were face to face.

5.  I swear i've seen Shawn's girlfriend, Aida before on TV or the movies.  And i've seen a post where someone thought that Shawn was on another reality show before.

6.  When Shawn's new girlfriend, Aida showed up, none of the other girls were 'feeling' her.  I don't think they believe she is genuine.

7.  There was an out-take on VH1.com that showed the girls deliberating about which guy should be expelled and they all said that during the dancing segment in Episode 2 that there was no connection between Shawn and Aida.

8.  He's always initiating drama, whether asking loaded questions to the other guys or making crazy comments or flying off the handle.

9.  During the promo for Episode 3, M.e.g.a. called Shawn fake.  I believe the cast doesn't think Shawn and Aida are legitimate either.

10.  Watching the promo for Episode 4, Shawn starts telling M.e.g.a. that he believes M.e.g.a. is just putting on an act and he and his girlfriend are fake and trying to scam the show out of the $100,000 prize.  Shawn is deflecting, and trying to take any doubt about him not being real and putting it on to M.e.g.a.

This is all i can recollect right now, as i catch reruns i'll update if anything else seems suspicious. Let me if you agree or just think i'm crazy.

  1. I really don't think he is. You would really be surprised, that most Hollywood guys really are like that. If you don't believe me, then take a little trip to saddle ranch resteraunt on sunset blvd. on any given night. You will swim through a sea of douche bags.

  3. I agree that Shawn is a plant. One more that piece of evidence that you should add to your list:

In the third episode he is the person who suggests to Joshua "Tiny Tool" that he should be open about the comments he made about his girlfriend in regards to her weight, sexual prowess, etc. Once again he helped to drive the plot and cause drama.

Also, if you visit the VH1 website all of the cast members have last names, but Aida has no last name in her official bio.

  4. This show is SOOOOOO FAKE! I have been watching (for what reason I don't know) and I originally suspected Shawn & Aida to be moles, but now after Christa left Tommy, her fiance, on national television, who she supposedly loved and wanted to be the father of her children, I am convinced the entire show is fake - every last contestant. Maybe the chubby girl & skinny boyfriend are the only real people? She seems to cry and get very upset by everything that seems so obviously staged for shock value. The only reason I started watching was for all of the half naked muscle men walking around like imbeciles (Cheesy Beefcake is my cryptonite), and they haven't been undressed for many episodes.

FAKE FAKE FAKE, from start to finish - even the fat chick now that I think about it. After all, this is the network that brought us the "reality" I love New York, the show starring an actress, with a another actress playing her mother, and a pool of actors and wannabe musicians vying for her love.... none of us should be surprised!

  5. I know for a fact that the first Hogan series was fake, so I don't doubt there's a lot of other fake reality shows.

Ridiculously good acting if it isn't, I'll admit that.

  7. you guys are silly. Shawn is a real person. and really that bro-tastic, you'd believe me if you met him. and aida is his vapid big-boobed dancing-on-tables-in-public-now-ex-gf- who he was banging for years. doesn't mean he wasn't banging other girls. but shawn? not an actor. and THAT is how most relationships in los angeles/hollywood are. hollow and based on hooking up. if you met them or came to a club here you'd get it. plus, there always has to be an instigator to keep things interesting, i'm sure the producers were excited that he would push everyone's buttons.

You should totally ressurect this blog and find more things that are fake!

I can't wait to find out who the plant is, if there is one.

  9. I dont even think Shawn is American. he uses strange phrases like "well" to mean "very" not very North American at all. I think he's Australian or possibly English. I dont remember specific quotations but here is an example "I'm well pissed". After I noticed his strange language usage I began to pay attention to his accent. You can hear it crack sometimes, especially when He speaks emotionally
